The Samsung L830 is a compact digicam with 8-megapixels of resolution and a 3x optical zoom. The Samsung L series has evolved to become more stylish, with its metal front cover and minimalist design concept. With Samsung’s exclusive Multi Charge system that has been adopted in the L830 and L730, recharging and data transmission can be done at the same time by connecting the USB cable to your PC. Without a heavy charging unit or cradle, these new Samsung models claim to be the easiest digital camera to carry around with you.
The L830 is ideally suited for family gatherings such as picnics, school exhibitions or trips, with functions such as Face Recognition (AF & AE) and Red-eye fix. The Face Recognition (AF & AE) function recognizes the face of subjects in the frame, and adjusts focus and exposure to help you produce the best portraits possible, while the Red-eye fix helps takes care of the red-eye phenomenon during and after shooting.
The 2.5” Intelligent TFT LCD fitted to the camera automatically adjusts its brightness according to the surrounding levels, for optimum visibility. Also the camera is equipped with Samsung’s proprietary ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) and high sensitivity ISO 1600, which ensures sharply-focused images without flash in an indoor environment. The Mode Dial enhances ease of use when operating the camera with only one hand, while photo frames, cartoons and stickers add more fun to taking pictures. The Samsung L830 also has a powerful movie function using MPEG4 SVGA level resolution (800×592), and is equipped with both an editing capability and a variety of image viewing functions.
