As you may remember from last episode, Sasuke is using Susanoo for defense, and so far nothing has gotten through to him. Sasuke doesn’t waste time exploiting this advantage, but instead trashes the place and finds Karin. There is so much left unfinished between Sasuke and team Raikage/team Kazekage, so at this point we KNOW that Sasuke knows at least SOME of what he is doing. Instead of having a lengthy fight, which it seems he would be the victor of, he rushes towards the hokage (why not call Danzo that now ), and right into another, possibly even larger fight (the other teams are not dead, just slowed down a bit). Kankuro has a shiny new puppet, Sasuke has already previously fought Gaara/temari AND, if my memory serves me right, Sasuke knows that he never captured Killer Bee (which would sorta turn things around a bit for team Raikage). Neither Suigetsu or Juugo are dead, but still, Sasuke goes right after hokage.
This is irritating me a lot. It’s like watching someone play Pacman, and watch how more and more ghost chase him with each turn, only that Pacman ate his little pill, and at any moment could just turn around and eat those ghosts. I’m not sure how familiar you have to be with Pacman to understand that analogy. Alright, now Kishi is just messing with us. Juugo, immobile and possibly near death, stretches something long and pointy towards the neck of an apparently dead samurai. I think it is safe to assume that Juugo has the ability to extend/save his life, by sucking blood/spinal fluids out of dead people. No wonder Orochimaru kept this guy.
Now, hokage already planned for this as an opportunity to escape. We only get this little stare contest before hokage jumps out a hole in the wall. But I would like to consider Sasuke vs hokage for a second. At this point I don’t think anyone would be counting on hokage in that fight, but the question is, does hokage know how strong Sasuke is? I should point out, that he is probably only fleeing because he is unhappy with the situation of the summit in general. Not necessarily because he thinks Sasuke will be able to defeat him. I’m also assuming that Sasuke is running out of chakra sooner or later. He has already used all 3 MS abilities, and some chidori. Add to that, that hokage is a tough one. They don’t call him hokage for nothing. Actually few people call him hokage. I guess that’s only my thing really.
