Right off the bat we see that Nagato preparing to use his final tech. Last chapter we saw that Naruto has manage to make Nagato believe once again that people will be able and understand each other, but this time he will be placing his faith into our favorite hyper active knucklehead Ninja.
His technique, “Gedo Rinne Tensei No Justu” allows him to revive everyone who was killed in the ongoing destruction of Konoha. However the draw back, as Konan shows through her concern, will drain the remaining strength and chakra that Nagato has left. Nevertheless Nagato believes that this is the least he can do after all the chaos and pain he has caused to the village.
We see that everyone who was apparently killed by Pein suddenly revive. Fukasaku, Shizune (HELL YA) have their souls returned and wake up to the shock of everyone. Kakashi who was stuck in some sort of eternal limbo with his Father also is revived, but not after a few touching scenes with his long awaited to see Father.
The Chapter ends with Nagato dying and passing on his dreams and hopes onto Naruto, who vows that he will carry on the will that both Jiraya and his “fellow pupil” strive for. Konan takes Nagato’s body as well as Yahiko’s back to the Rain Village, saying she is through with Akatsuki and gives Naruto paper flowers, in hopes that he will be able to achieve what he sets out to do.
We also see Sasuke in the final panel, tell the rest of Team Taka that they will be moving to Konoha… So one battle ends..and another is going to begin. (Halfmetal-lich).
